Reliability Assessment of Distribution Network Considering Differentiated End-Users Demand

A short note on my paper presented at the International Conference on Smart Grid and Energy Engineering (SGEE 2020), Guilin, China. Read the published version on IOPscience or download the PDF.

Summary

This work proposes a reliability assessment method for distribution networks that explicitly accounts for the differentiated reliability demand of end users. Rather than treating every load point identically, the method weights reliability indices by how sensitive each end user is to interruptions, so that the assessment better reflects the service quality that customers actually experience.

A more detailed write-up is coming. In the meantime, the full method and case studies are available in the paper linked above.
