Multi-Energy Flow Optimal Scheduling of Compressed Air Energy Storage via Energy-Hub Matrix Modeling
A short note on my paper presented at the 4th International Conference on Power and Energy Technology (ICPET 2022), Xining, China, where I was the oral presenter. Read the published version on IEEE Xplore or download the PDF.
Summary
This work builds a matrix model of the energy hub for advanced adiabatic compressed air energy storage (AA-CAES) and formulates a multi-energy-flow optimal scheduling model on top of it. Casting the coupling between electricity, heat, and stored air as an energy-hub matrix keeps the coordinated dispatch compact and lets the storage system be scheduled jointly with the rest of the multi-energy network.
A more detailed write-up is coming. In the meantime, the full model and case studies are available in the paper linked above.
